As a member of the board of the Tourism and Development Committee our founder, Mr. Michael E. Defterigos had the honor of representing the Municipality of Paros at the 2022 World Travel Market.

Held at London’s Excel center from 6-9 Nov, visitor numbers exceeded expectations with double the attendance of 2021.  An incredible number of travel professionals walked through the doors on the World Travel Market days, with over 35,800 participants.

Michael was able to meet with other Destination Management Organisations and discuss ways of promoting the island and attracting visitors.

As part of the GREEK NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANIZATION (GNTO) the Municipality of Paros had its own exhibition desk welcoming guests and other business partners to meetings and discussions and offering promotional products and items from the island.
